Talkeetna Log Cabin with Hot Tub Unit 2

I was pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the cabin was. Positive: The location was very good for our needs. The cabin was very thoughtfully equipped with the items needed for a short stay. The hot tub was clean and in excellent condition. Hint: you must move around to the various seats as the jets are different at each seating. The information provided by the host for our stay was sufficient. The second room had a single bed and a double bed. The bathroom was supplied well. The common areas were nicely done with tables, chairs, and grills. It was within walking distance of the river. There were 3 fishing boats there when we stayed so I guess it was a good location for anyone who enjoys fishing. Negative: The single bed was squeaky when you moved around. There was no heat source upstairs even though the heater downstairs was working well enough to provide enough heat to the cabin. I'm not sure I would stay there in the winter.

Nice clean location, friendly staff Positive: Good location. Liked the hot tub. Sheila was very good & we appreciated her help. Gave us. Great breakfast suggestion. Negative: For the price, would suggest new couches & better pillows for the couches. Too bad no bathroom upstairs but we get it.
