Talkeetna Log Cabin with Hot Tub Unit 2

Nice modern cabin in the woods. Good for families. Positive: Very cute and comfortable. The property is very clean and modern. Quiet, woodsy neighborhood. Very nice group outdoor area with a huge firepit and a new hot tub. 5 min Driving distance to the village. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. Negative: We are smokers, so it’s not really for us. It’s a great place for families with kids. You have to walk to the street to smoke. The street (dirt road) is close by, but we really enjoy sitting on our patio and being able to smoke with our coffee when we are on vacation. Also you can tell people have been reckless with their place as there are lots of rules and signs everywhere. So the atmosphere just felt rigid. Great place, just not our vibe so much.

Negative: Hot tub was communal which was unexpected

After hiking hot tub was welcome Positive: Shared hot tub is nice. Walking distance to town. Negative: Not very good for disabled with upstairs bedrooms, but cute & comfortable.

We had a great stay in Talkeetna! Positive: We could walk to town in 15 minutes which was lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and community space. Perfect house for a family of 4. Negative: No major complaints. A minor comment, there are curtains versus doors on the bedrooms which meant noise traveled easily, but it didn't impact our stay.
